UNIFORM UNINCORPORATED NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION ACT

PURPOSE:
This Act allows unincorporated nonprofit associations to receive, hold and transfer real and personal property in the name of the association. It provides limitation of liability of members and functionaries of such associations from contract and tort liability of the association, while permitting the association to incur liabilities in its own name.
