UNIFORM GUARDIANSHIP AND PROTECTIVE
PROCEEDINGS ACT (1997)

PURPOSE:
Updates procedures for the appointment of guardians and conservators for minors and incapacitated persons. Provides due process protection for incapacitated persons. All guardians and conservators are subject to the jurisdiction and the supervision of the court.

Completed by the Uniform Law Commissioners in 1997.
