THE UNIFORM DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT

PURPOSE:
The Uniform Act is designed to bring state law up to date by removing undue restrictions on the common law action for deceptive trade practices.

ORIGIN:
Completed by the Uniform Law Commissioners in 1964, and revised in 1966.
